What does it mean to be ripped and lean? Does it mean to be frail and have less
body fat? Well, NO!

You are because of how you live, how you carry yourself, how you eat and when you eat, how much you rest, how much you work… to sum it all how you maintain yourself. Hence the physical appearance also tells a lot about a person’s habits. That’s when the word fitness comes into the picture. Fitness is related to a state of well-being of both – the mind and body which most of us try to achieve, some succeed some don’t.
Fitness is a combination of both –strength and endurance. There’s no metric to define fitness but there are
levels of fitness. Being ripped and lean is what you should aim for, to aim for
the highest.
To be ripped and lean is an indicator of the level of athleticism
of a person. It is an indicator of what all your body is capable of. Just by
looking at someone’s physique, it can be estimated to an extent as to what that person’s
physical abilities are. Is he lazy or is he athletic, can he run ten rounds of
the football field without gasping for breath or if he can lift his own
bodyweight.

When can a person be called “fit”? A person who can
run 10 km without rest but falls ill regularly and also who cannot push himself
off the floor will have “endurance”, but he cannot be called “fit”. A person
who can bench his own weight but can barely go 2 kilometers without
running out of breath can be called “strong” but not “fit”.
GOOD LUCK !!
